This is an introductory day on meditation, open to all who may be interested in learning more about the practice of meditation and sharing the experience of meditating with others.
One of the best gifts you can give yourself is to learn to meditate. Meditation is often the missing dimension in our lives today. It helps fill a deep void, especially for those whose lives are already crowded with worry, tension and anxiety. Perhaps meditation is something you’ve been thinking about over the years but never felt the time was right for you. Why not come along for the Day? It will be essentially experiential, exploring the basic concepts of meditation such as: silence, listening, body posture, breathing, awareness and attentiveness to the present moment.
